Dawson Powell is an Estimator at Spann Roofing, where he reviews architectural plans and specifications, creates detailed takeoffs, and prices new construction roofing projects for general contractors. After joining the team a year ago, Dawson quickly discovered that this was the best job he’s ever had, as it gave him the chance to pursue his long-time goal of working in construction. He especially enjoys heading out into the field to meet customers, and nothing beats the excitement of winning a bid.

A Johnsonville, SC native, Dawson comes from a long line of hardworking people and strives to live up to that legacy by giving his all to every project. He believes in taking the time to do the job right the first time and knows that Spann Roofing runs like a machine, with every team member relying on one another to succeed. Outside of work, Dawson enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for studying genealogy, often helping others learn more about their own family history.
